About Us

The Jager Agency, a division of Dimond Bros. Insurance, LLC. was started in 1952 when Lyle Jager graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Ambrose University and purchased a small insurance agency in Kewanee, Illinois. As the agency grew, Lyle formed a partnership with Richard Carlock and James Grier.

In 2018, The Jager Agency merged with Dimond Bros. Insurance, LLC.  Dimond Bros. is one of the largest independent insurance agencies in both the Midwest and the United States. With 40+ locations throughout Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin; being a part of Dimond Bros. have given our staff additional support and tools to better serve our customers.

We are a member of the IIA of Illinois and represent a wide range of companies. The companies we work with can meet the unique needs of our clients by offering high quality choices for a variety of insurance needs.

Our employees have been highly trained in customer service and are dedicated to assisting our customers. We thank those customers who have been loyal throughout the years to this agency and extend a warm welcome to those who have yet to join the agency family.
